There is no one better to talk about us than our current and past students. This is what they have to say about their SpeakTrips:

"I had the opportunity to spend 4 months studying at CSLI in Vancouver and for sure, those were the best 4 months of my life. The school is really fun and there I had the opportunity to make friends from all over the world. The school is also very friendly and welcoming and offers many fun activities, which help improve both your language skills and your understanding of different cultures. All teachers and staff are very helpful people. Beside Vancouver’s natural beauty, the people who live in city are nice and always try to help us, starting from the bus drivers. The public transportation is very punctual and comfortable. Today all I can think is of the day I will have the opportunity to go back there again and meet the friends I have made.”

“
I stayed in Vancouver 6 months. I will never forget anything that happened there, all the places that I visited and all friends that I made. I have only 4 more weeks here, its time to go and I'm already missing everything. I had a very great time and for sure here I noticed that time really flies its incredible how fast the time passed. Seems like it was yesterday that I arrived in Vancouver, in summer time, my school was so full, I can never forget how embarrassed I was in the beginning, but the truth is that I really loved Vancouver, my school, the city, my host family, that's is for sure the best homestay family ever.
Before I come I had heard about CSLI and Vancouver from my friends that had been here before, they were always talking how good and perfect was everything here, and I couldn’t understand what was so special here, and now that I have experienced that I can see that and also understand why they miss here so much, just as I do. I will always miss the hot sit that I loved to play. The Friday activities, that is always so hard for me to wake up. Graduation day and the exciting music. The games in the break time. All the school in general. My perfect homestay family and all the moments that I enjoyed with them. To drink hot chocolate in Tim Hortons. So many things I am missing that if I keep talking here I will never stop.
I had a lot of new experience here, I saw snow for the first time, and I’d never been in such a cold place before. I liked here so much that I extended my period for one more month, and I'm really glad that I did it. I will always remember the valuable experience I had here, it was very worthwhile. I could learn about different cultures around the world, I realized that there is always something else to learn, thinking about it maybe the second language is the least important thing that we learned comparing with all others things. I learned so many things that I'm going to remember for the rest of my life.
It was my dream to come to Canada and I am very grateful for coming. I just can thank everybody that made it happens and also the ones who made part of it, It's going to be in my heart forever. And if I am luck, I hope I go back to Vancouver, and enjoy that beautiful city again.”

“My experience in Vancouver could not have been better! I arrived there without knowing anyone and slowly fell in love with the city. What impressed me the most was how safe it was, how one can walk on the streets anytime and enjoy it, without having to worry about violence. The school I attended had students from all parts of the world and I had the chance to meet a little bit of each of them and their diverse culture. I lived in a homestay for two months and moved to downtown for convenience with three other friends I had met there. These are my friends until today! Vancouver has a great infrastructure, entertainment for the summer and winter and is surrounded by many wonderful day or weekend trips destinations such as the Rocky Mountains in Alberta and Victoria, in Vancouver Island – a wonderful city worth visiting!”

“Vancouver is a beautiful city, calm and full of young students. These students feel at home and safe there because of the high quality of life and the level of respect in the city, both to people and to the environment. What made us as parents happiest was that we could and still can count on the help of the SpeakTrips local support. They’ve been really friendly and have been helping our daughter since she first arrived at the airport until now. They help her with whatever is needed and they even helped us when we went to visit her in Vancouver, always with dedication and responsibility. We were also able to visit the school where Kamila, our daughter, studies. The infrastructure and the environment of the school are great. The teachers and directors are very friendly and students like Kamila have the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world. We could not forget to mention how much Kamila likes her homestay family. They are a warm and happy family. After seeing our daughter in such an environment, we understood why she wanted to stay longer than the 5 months we had planned. Kamila is staying for an extra 5 months!
If we could, we would stay too!”

“This trip has been an amazing experience for me. I’ve met people not only from Canada, but from all over the world. During these months I’ve made friendships that I’ll keep for my entire life, I’ve traveled to beautiful and unforgettable places, I’ve seen snow for the first time, I’ve played tennis and much more. I’ve been having no trouble making friends. Not being shy really helps you make friends and adapt. I think the most difficult things have been getting used to the food and the language, but still, after awhile you get used to those things too. The summer here is great, warm and you should enjoy those days. These months have brought me lots of knowledge. I’ve become more independent, got to know a little more about Canada, met great people and I’ve become fluent in English, which is going to benefit me for the rest of my life. For me these have definitely been amazing days full of new experiences. I recommend SpeakTrips to everyone.”
