Paula Omena – Regional Agent, Alagoas

“My name is Paula Omena. I have a degree in Public Relatiosn and I live in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil. . In the end of 2004 I decided to experience life abroad and the trip to meet some of my relatives who live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, turned into a fascinating life experience. First I fell in love with the city, Vancouver. The views, the culture, the people, everything was amazing. Then my English school, CSLI, turned into my passion. The school impressed me by its organization and how it felt so welcoming. The teachers and staff were always ready to answer any questions from those who arrived lost. It did not take long until you felt at home. The activities at the school also made the learning of the new language easy and fun. I liked the school so much that I became a volunteer there during my last month in Vancouver. From then on I have recommended CSLI to many Brazilians who want to study English abroad. “Trips! Studies! Knowledge! - Our most precious experiences! I was Born in Rio de Janeiro- Brazil, I’m 29 years old with more than 15 years of trips, studies and great experiences around the world. England was my first destination. I was 13. That was my first english course and my first time in a homestay family. After this experience, I kept traveling year by year, since my mother prefered to provide me international language courses during my school holidays better than learning languages in Brazil. Following the years , I went to California (USA), Orlando (USA) Vancouver (Canada), Gold Coast (Australia) and Paris (France) for language courses. Versailles (France), Padova (Italy) and Hong Kong (China) for my academic degree, and New York (USA) for work.

Now I’m back in Rio de Janeiro, my favorite place to live. I’m a Pefumer. My job is to create perfumes. And together with that, I’m now part of SpeakTrips team, for all my passion and experiences in this field of travel and international studies. Heloisa Santeiro – Regional Agent, São Paulo

“I’m Heloisa and I live in São Paulo, city where I was born. When I was a teenager I had the opportunity to go abroad for one semestre. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by travelling, the discovery and living with other cultures. My fluency in English lead me to work in the aviation industry for over 20 years. During this period, my family and I travelled to many countries, amongst them Canada, where we went many times and go to know the local routine and culture. “My name is Marinha Aguiar, I’m from São Paulo and I have a degree in Psychology. I come from a family of immigrants, what made me interested in other languages and culture from the start. One of my great passions is traveling! There’s nothing better than diving into another culture, researching about it, learning and falling in love with it. I had the opportunity to travel to Europe a few times. Taking a French course in Brussels, Belgium expanded my excitement about intercultural experiences. I went to Canada in 2007 and was fascinated by the country and especially by Vancouver, which is a beautiful, cheerful and young city.

Luiza Nudelman – President and Founder

Luiza Nudelman was born in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil and grew up in the large city of São Paulo, Brazil. At the age of 16, Luiza left Brazil to start her international adventures by spending 6 months in a boarding school in Shrewsbury, England. After that eye opening experience, she learned French in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, Spanish in Barcelona, Spain, and she graduated in Economics and International Relations from the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, where she has been living since 2002. SpeakTrips is the result of something she has always loved; traveling, meeting people and communicating with them.

Through her experiences traveling and learning new cultures and languages, Luiza realizes that there is nothing better than feeling at home away from home. It is with local expertise of people who know your chosen destination well that SpeakTrips offers a large variety of exclusive services that makes everything from choosing the school that is best for you to your adaptation easier.
